Some of the best celebrations of NEW YEAR!



NEW YORK CITY
The ball drop in Times Square is one of the most famous New Year’s celebrations in the world.










SYDNEY
Sydney is one of the first cities to herald the new year.  And they do so with one of the most spectacular fireworks displays, which is seen by a crowd of 1.5 million people.










BERLIN
Over a million people cram into a 1.2 mile stretch of road in front of Bradenburg Gate called the “Party Mile” to watch live bands and dance in tents.








LONDON
Big Ben chiming in the New Year, an absolutely amazing firework display, and a family-friendly parade touring the city the next day.








RIO DE JANEIRO
Over 2 million people dressed in white flock to Copacabana Beach to celebrate the New Year’s Eve. 












BARCELONA
For many years, Spanish people have had the custom to celebrate New Year’s Eve with grapes ! This event is called “Campanadas”. On the last day of the year, the 31st of December , they wait until 12 p.m. Everybody has to have twelve grapes ready to eat when the clock starts to chime. They listen to the clock from Puerta del Sol in Madridon TV or on radio.






LAS VEGAS
New Years Eve in Las Vegas is definitely one of the best ways to spend your new year.
